Information we collect
- Support requests: If you contact us through our support form, we collect the name, email, optional phone number, and message you submit.
- App usage: catXapp stores preferences locally on your device (cart items, saved carts, margin settings). We do not operate a user account server.
- Subscriptions: Payments are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Marketing analytics: Our website may use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Google Ads tags to measure visits and App Store button clicks.
How we use information
- To respond to support requests you send through our website.
- To provide app functionality on your device (search, pricing, cart).
- To fetch live precious metal spot prices from third-party sources for price calculations.
- To measure marketing campaign performance (website visits and App Store clicks).
Third-party services
catXapp may request data from Kitco and similar public market data sources to calculate live prices. Support forms are hosted by Google Forms. Subscriptions are managed by Apple App Store.
Our marketing site may use Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel (Facebook), and optional Google Ads tags to measure site traffic and ad performance. These tools may collect usage data such as page views and App Store button clicks according to Meta’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. You can control ad tracking in your device and browser settings.
Data retention
Support data is retained until you request removal or until no longer needed. App data on your device can be removed by deleting the app.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of your support information by contacting us. For App Store subscription management, use your Apple ID account settings.
Children
catXapp is intended for business users in the scrap and recycling industry. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
